APPLETON, WI -- May, 2010 -- One in two women over age 50 will have an osteoporosis-related fracture in their lifetime. Post-menopausal women with risk factors and all women at age 65 should have a baseline screening.

 

During May, Women's Health Specialists are offering FREE Achilles bone density screenings in three locations. Pre-registration is required. FREE evaluation of screening results immediately provided on-site by a trained provider. FREE calcium related diet information and recipes.

For those whose screening indicates a concern, you can schedule a full-body diagnostic DEXA-scan. Same day appointments are available. A financial counselor will be available to speak with you regarding insurance coverage and payment options.
