They have graduated from an acceptable medical school, completed an ob-gyn residency program within the geographic confines of the ACOG, and have an active license to practice medicine.

The ultrasound department at Women's Health Specialists is accredited by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM). Ultrasound practices accredited by the AIUM go through an exhaustive audit every 3 years to retain their accreditation. AIUM accreditation provides a good measure of reassurance for patients.
