Request Test Results

If your physician determines that you need some laboratory tests performed to help better-assess your medical condition, your blood will normally be drawn in our office. Some insurance carriers require that lab work be done by specific companies so check on that before you come in.

Once your blood is drawn it is taken to a certified laboratory staffed by pathologists for analysis. The results are then sent to our offices.

Your nurse will explain to you at the time of your appointment how these results will be communicated to you. Many times the doctor will review the results and then have the nurse call you with results and to explain to you if further testing or treatment needs to be done.

We try to notify you of laboratory results as soon as they are available. If you do not hear from us, we encourage you to call us during regular office hours so that your medical record and results are available to the physician.

We do send you a letter when your pap smear comes back within normal limits. If you do not hear from us within 3 weeks of your appointment, please call our office.
