Hassan Shahbandar, MD

Dr. Shahbandar graduated from the Damascus University Medical School. He served his internship at Loyola University-affiliated St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois. His residency was spent at the University of Michigan affiliated hospitals, Mt. Carmel Mercy Medical Center, Detroit and Providence Hospital, Southfield, Michigan.

Since 1974, he has been in private practice in Appleton. Dr. Shahbandar is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, but is focusing his practice on gynecology only, with a special interest in urogynecology. (Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery) with over 30 years of experience.

He is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the American Urogynecological Society.

He and his wife are the parents of 3 children and many grandchildren.
